Braque d'Auvergne
From Michael in Virginia:
Max is my 18 month old Braque d'Auvergne. He is 70 pounds of endless energy. I have been training him on all the normal obedience commands and use a whistle as well. He has an excellent nose and is a close working dog. He hunts for me by himself or with his best buddy Scout, a 2 year old female Braque d'Auvergne. I do quite a bit of training in my yard, but also use the facilities at Mill Creek Kennels once a week. The Kennels are a dog training heaven located in Gouchland County Virginia and owned and operated by Doug Deats.
Below is Max as a puppy, then Max at 9 months pointing a chucker. The bottom photo is Max pointing another chucker with Scout backing. They both back each other naturally. Both are exceptional hunters individually or hunting together.
