We posted a video about the STORMR jacket a few days ago, and I’m happy to tell you that we’ve gotten our hands on one for review! We’re going to find out if STORMR can defy the elements of a sloppy, slushy, unpredictable Toronto winter.

Just to refresh your memory the STORMR jacket is made of neoprene, a well known insulator and waterproof layer used for wetsuits and fishing waders. It features a soft micro-fleece lining, two exterior pockets, one interior pocket, heavy duty zipper with a neoprene flap for added protection, a full hood with drawstring, sleeve tightening straps, and reflective lines along the arms and head. What a mouthful! The STORMR will retail for about $200 USD.

I’ve warn the STORMR out a few times when walking the dog and I can tell you that it’s warm, flexible, and comfortable. The weather has been pretty moderate here recently, but the next few days looks like it’s going to be snowy, rainy, and everywhere in between so it should be a good test. I’m going to give the STORMR a solid week of everyday wear before I write my final review.
