Once you settle in, there are things you can do to finish preparing for your hunt; one is that there is a shooting range on the property so you can properly sight in your rifle, muzzle-loader, or shotgun. After all, you don't want to miss the trophy for the wall because the rifle is not zero'd. After that, you are all set for some of the best hunting that South Carolina has to offer. Depending on the time of the year you decide to hunt with Pete and Sandra at Buck Run Lodge, you will be given several options on bag limits. The one thing you are not allowed to do is shoot button bucks. Some of the whitetails taken at Buck Run have scored 150+ Boone and Crockett.
