Buck Run Lodge, Whitetail Hunting Low Country Style
Looking for a great hunt in the Palmetto State, Then Buck Run Lodge, with Pete and Sandra Simmons, has gotta be your first choice. The hunting is superb, and the southern hospitality is amazing. I went to Buck run for a 5 day hunt, I was able to start hunting the day I arrived. I remember hunting over a large cotton field. Pete asked me, how I felt about a 150 to 200 yard shot, He was not kidding, the first deer I saw was at least 175 yards. I was able to see deer everyday I was at Buck Run. Me and a couple of friends had the best time, their at Buck Run. We got several hogs, and the deer are absolutely, breath taking. We had excellent meals at the lodge, because Sandra does the cooking and she has skills.
I highly recommend that anyone that is wanting to experience some of the best hunting that South Carolina has to offer, you really need to visit Buck Run Lodge. If you do not fill your limit, it will be because you missed the shot. You will see some of the best Deer in South Carolina, with Wild Hogs galore. They have added quail hunting since I was there and I am sure with Pete at the helm, its gotta be incredible. Visit you will not be disappointed. |
